For Episode 6 of BLACK MIRROR REFLECTIONS, I am joined by filmmaker John Cerrito to talk about Season 1, Episode 2 of Black Mirror entitled “The Entire History of You,” which originally premiered in 2011.
Before we get to the episode notes, though, I have some exciting Black Mirror news to share! Charlie Brooker has apparently begun work on a mockumentary about 2020, and he tweeted a (very short) teaser for it yesterday here. The teaser doesn’t reveal much, but we know from other sources that Hugh Grant will have a role as a be-wigged historian of the 21st century.

My guest for Episode 6 is Los Angeles-based director, screenwriter, and editor, John Cerrito. John received his MFA in Film Directing from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television in 2018. His filmmaking often sits at the intersection of speculative fiction and social advocacy, with particular focus on gender, identity, patriarchy and mental health. His films have screened at Cinequest, Indie Memphis, Atlanta, Nashville, Dances with Films, and Napa Valley Film Festivals.
